Hey Peaches!
In celebration of Diversity Month and National Volunteer Month, this week we are bringing Yenny Darmadjaya and Sara Tunggala from Read 4 Unity to talk about the philanthropistic work they're doing to bridge unity with one diverse children's book at a time. After years of planning their idea, the two decided Summer 2020 was the perfect time to launch this project after the intense showcase of injustices in the BIPOC community.
With so much love and passion for bridging unity Yenny and Sara started this vision with diversifying The Little Free Libraries around town with books that represent and highlight BIPOC characters and authors.
Tune in to find out why the two women chose to focus on children's books in order to make their vision of unity come true. We hope y'all enjoy this episode as much as we enjoyed making it.
Love y'all so MUCHO GRANDE!
Tiff & Mel
