TG Minute 55: (110:00 - 112:00) Arnie Holds Down John Connor - Arnie Sinking Into Terminator Slpoog TRIVIA: It was rumored that the following film will be Arnold Schwarzenegger's last as The Terminator. In The Terminator (1984), it was established that Terminators do not just wear living human tissue to blend in. They wear the living human tissue, so they can go through the Time Displacement Field. Kyle Reese (Michael Biehn) surmised that living tissue generates a field necessary for time traveling, as 'nothing dead will go'. In this film, it is added that if a Terminator would go through without living human tissue, or if the metal underneath is exposed, it would quickly heat up the metal akin to a microwave, and blow up along with the Time Displacement Field. With the living human tissue, The Time Displacement Field cannot penetrate the Terminator's endoskeleton. COCK UP’S Near the end of the movie, while "Pops" and Jon fight in the unfinished time machine, Kyle and Sarah are seen using an elevator and entering the safety vault even though it was previously established that Skynet was capable of controlling the whole facility. Why didn't Skynet disable the elevator while Sarah and Kyle were in it? Or deny them access to the safety vault?
