EPISODE 2: Australian Haydn Ensemble's pre-concert podcast: The Mozarts, The Haydns & The Bear

The Mozart family is probably the best-known musical family of the 18th century next to that of the Bachs, but there were others that were connected to them and each other - including The Haydn brothers - Joseph and Michael  - and also an important influencer of the young Mozart, Johann Christian Bach. In the lead-up to the Australian Haydn Ensemble’s April 2023 concert tour and performance at the Canberra International Festival, The Mozarts, The Haydns & The Bear, Artistic Director Skye McIntosh takes a look at these musical families and connections.
