J.D. and Connor start out at Connor's apartment and intend to spend the day doing holiday stuff. They get caught up in conversation and eventually have to head into the city so Connor can perform in a Star Wars themed show. J.D. saves a stranger's hat, but gets badly injured along the way. J.D. and Connor steal power from Lincoln Center. Connor and J.D. find some pleasant New York City holiday joy and also find themselves in the middle of a New York City holiday nightmare. There's some private time, some wandering, some time at the UCB Theater, and a couple phone calls to important people.
