Consider this statement. Nobody is busier than someone too busy to be interested in someone else. Don’t be this person.
If you are talking to someone who seems to need to be somewhere else, how does that make you feel?

that they matter to you,
that they are important in your life and
that you value them as people.
And isn't that something important to us all?
