Leyla Okhai is the founder of Diverse Minds, a company that works to help create a positively productive workplace, with an emphasis on mental health. Leyla is childfree by choice and through her work she has seen how a flawed system can pit mothers against those who are childfree.

Alongside calling out inequalities Leyla talks about her choice not to have children, which she instinctively knew from a young age. From the environment and mental health to the trauma of racism – there are many factors at play for her. Leyla also shares the lessons she’s learnt about approaching inequality in the workplace and respecting people’s choices.
