Camila Bechelany nasceu em Belo Horizonte, Brasil, em 1979. Vive em São Paulo. É curadora, pesquisadora, crítica e editora. Mestre em Antropologia Cultural pela EHESS, Paris e em Artes e Políticas Públicas pela NYU, Nova York. Em 2013 foi co-fundadora do espaço La Maudite em Paris onde curou projetos de arte brasileira até 2015. Foi curadora assistente no MASP (2016 a 2018). Em 2019 foi curadora convidada na Pinacoteca de São Paulo e do Pivô Pesquisa. Atualmente é diretora de relações institucionais da Galeria Nara Roesler.
