羅香林（1906-1978），廣東興寧縣人，曾就讀清華大學、燕京大學，受教於王國維、梁啟超等，曾任教國立中山大學歷史學系系，1949年來港，任教廣大書院、新亞書院、香港大學中文系、珠海書院等。研究廣泛，包括：民族史，客家文化、方誌、香港前代史、孫中山在香港歷史遺蹟等。
