古代の山城、大野城跡の宇美町側にあるのが、この遺跡最大の石垣だといわれる百間石垣です。
名前の通り全長１８０メートルある石垣です。
石垣としては内部にも石を積めた総石垣構造だとか。
また、石垣の下を流れる川からは門の礎石が見つかり、林道近くに城門があったのではないか、とも見られているそうです。
