In this episode, Dorothy and her little dog Toto met a scarecrow tied to a wooden pole on the Yellow Brick Road. To their surprise, the scarecrow could speak! Although he had no brain, he longed to have the ability to think. Dorothy invited him to join them on their journey to the Emerald City, hoping the great Wizard of Oz could help them all.
