『放棄辣椒』是一種人生態度，出自對印尼俗語的美麗誤會：原意是指沒有從過錯中學到經驗。對我們來說就像吃辣時的過程雖然被辣到流淚，但依然想再吃，可能是辣椒的香氣，或是過癮的感覺，讓人想要回味。

而生活中不也是如此，遇到挑戰時，雖然過程痛苦，但人還是會依舊跳坑。

『放棄辣椒』是台灣姊妹分享東南亞的個人經驗，也是下班後一同喝啤酒的生活抒發。

感謝 Hsien Tzu，讓我們有了第一次用泰文錄製 podcast 的機會，而且三個主持人都不是泰文母語人士！透過 Hsien Tzu 的牽線，邀請到了韓國歐膩 Han 一起來聊泰國。

Han 在 2022 年出版了一本介紹泰國文具店的韓文書，並在 2024 年翻譯成泰文在泰國發行。這本書成為了我 2024 年底到泰國買的第一本書！

Hsien Tzu 和 Han 兩位都對泰國設計有深入研究，很榮幸能和他們一起探討泰國及其設計產業，並與台灣和韓國的情況作比較。

ครั้งนี้เป็นครั้งแรกที่ใช้ภาษาไทยในการอัด Podcast และสิ่งที่น่าสนใจคือ ผู้ร่วมรายการทั้งสามคนที่มาพูดภาษาไทยด้วยกันไม่มีใครเป็นคนไทยเลยค่ะ โดยเป็นคนไต้หวัน 2 คน และคนเกาหลี 1 คน
พวกเราทั้งสามคนได้ใช้ชีวิตในประเทศไทย และมีความสนใจในวัฒนธรรม วิถีชีวิต และงานดีไซน์ของไทย จึงได้มาแบ่งปันมุมมองและสิ่งที่สังเกตเห็นเกี่ยวกับประเทศไทย พร้อมทั้งแลกเปลี่ยนและเปรียบเทียบความเหมือนและความต่างระหว่างไทยกับประเทศบ้านเกิดของพวกเรา

This is the first time we’ve recorded a podcast in Thai, and what's interesting is that none of the three participants speaking Thai are actually Thai. They include two Taiwanese and one Korean.

The three of us have lived in Thailand and are interested in Thai culture, lifestyle, and design. So, we shared our perspectives and observations about Thailand while exchanging and comparing similarities and differences between Thailand and our home countries. (Taiwan & Korea)
