نشرات «چايخانه»، که به صورت امتحانی به نشرات آغاز می کند، دو هدف اساسی دارد:
۱: رسانيدن اطلاعات برای مهاجرين تازه وارد و آشنایی شان با قوانين، مقررات و ساختارهای مختلف جامعهٔ دنمارک و سائر کشورهای شامل در اتحاديهٔ اروپا.
۲: آماده ساختن مطالب و برنامه های تفريحی و سرگرم کننده برای افغانان مقيم دنمارک، که از شنيدن همه روزه ای اخبار جنگ و خونريزی ها در کشور و جهان خسته اند و می خواهند ساعاتی را فارغ از جهان سياست و جنگ بگذرانند.
