The data bus is used to transport signals between the motherboard and other components.

匯流排因為是一種公共通道，跟公共汽車一樣，稱為bus，很好記。匯流排有分資料匯流排data bus、地址匯流排Address Bus，和控制匯流排Control Bus。Motherboard主機板，有時候也可能被叫作 system board 或 mainboard，就像在不同的情境下稱呼板子、主板、母板一樣。Component 是元件、零組件的意思，也可以看情況用parts、units、devices來替換。
