कोल्ह्याने करकोच्याला जेवायला बोलावलं आणि खीर सपाट बशीत म्हणजेच ताटलीत वाढली, ज्यामुळे करकोच्याला खाता आलं नाही. करकोचा उपाशीपोटी परत गेला पण त्याने ठरवलं की कोल्ह्याला धडा शिकवायचा. नंतर करकोच्याने कोल्ह्याला घरी बोलावलं आणि खीर उंच, बारीक तोंडाच्या भांड्यात वाढली. करकोचा सहज खीर खाऊ शकला, पण कोल्ह्याचं डोकं भांड्यात अडकून तो उपाशी राहिला.

 बोध:  इतरांना फसवले तर शेवटी आपलंच नुकसान होतं. म्हणून नेहमी प्रामाणिक आणि चांगल्या मनाने वागावं.  दुसऱ्याला फसवलं किंवा कमी लेखलं तर त्याचाच फटका शेवटी आपल्यालाच बसतो.

The fox invited the stork for dinner and served kheer in a flat plate, which the stork could not eat. The stork went home hungry but decided to teach the fox a lesson. Later, he invited the fox for dinner and served the kheer in a tall pot with a narrow mouth. The stork enjoyed the kheer with his long beak, while the fox could not eat and got stuck in the pot.

Moral: If you trick others, it will harm you in the end. That’s why we should always be honest and kind.
