Doing Business Development from a PR standpoint, an Industry Titan's perspective- Mr. Dean Bender himself!
Overtime, It seems like the definition and understanding of #businessdevelopment became pretty loose and open to interpretations so lately, I find myself deep-diving into the basics to better define for myself what does Business Development really mean. In this very special Episode I had the honor of talking to Dean and learn some more about one of my true passions- Developing businesses.
Dean Bender, Founder and President of BHI Communications, formally known as Bender, Goldman and Helper.
His company was acquired in 2021 by Dolphin Entertainment and then merged with the highly regarded entertainment PR firm 42West.
Dean has had over 40 years of Public Relations experience, representing each of the Hollywood Studios in various Films and Television projects.
In the 90's he established the company’s Gaming division and had represented the titans of the Gaming industry such as EA, Ubisoft and Activision to name a few.
Dean is recently retired but was kind enough to pull his brain out of storage for me and give us all the rare opportunity to learn from the Master about the true good-old-fashioned meaning of Business Development.Thank you so much Dean Bender It was fascinating 🙌

עם הזמן וההתפתחות תעשיית הטק והאינסטנט, נראה שהמונח פיתוח עסקי (ביז-דב) הפך למשהו די אמורפי והתרחק מהמשמעות האמיתית שלו.
לאחרונה, אני מוצאת את עצמי צוללת לעומק וחוזרת לבסיס לאימון אינטנסיבי של עשיית פיתוח עסקי נכון וטוב.
בפרק המיוחד הזה, היה לי הכבוד לארח וללמוד מדין על אחד מהנושאים שאני הכי אוהבת- איך עושים ומפתחים עסקים.
דין בנדר הוא המייסד והנשיא של סוכנות היח״צ BHI. בשנת 2021 היא נרכשה עי ענקית התקשורת Dolphin Entertainmen ומוזגה עם סוכנות היח״צ 42West.
לדין יש יותר מ 40 (!) שנות ניסיון בתעשיית יחסי הציבור והוא ייצג את כל הסטודיוז הכי גדולים בהוליווד על מגוון הפקות סרטים וטלוויזיה.
בשנות ה ‘90 הוא היה מהראשונים לייסד מחלקת גיימינג אצלו בחברה ועם השנים ניהל לקוחות ענק כמו EA, Ubisoft ו Activision.
לאחרונה, דין פרש לגמלאות ולשמחתי הרבה היה אדיב מספיק לאוורר את המוח שלו מאחסון לכמה רגעים ולקיים איתי שיחה סופר מרתקת על פיתוח עסקי. זכיתי ללמוד מאחד הגדולים.
